Food and Drink

There are two dining options available at the park, in the main entertainment complex. These are:

  • Meals in the main bar / terrace – pub food: burgers, grills, chicken etc, salads and kid’s meals. This can get very busy, especially when we’re all there.

  • Fish and Chip shop – as it says. This can get really, really busy and have been known to run out of food.

The queues for food on Saturday evening can be huge, especially after Beccs Got Talent, so we recommend everyone has a HUGE lunch on Saturday.

All of the accommodation has fridges and cooking facilities, so you can bring your own food. We suggest you bring the basics to stock your caravan; milk, tea/coffee, something for breakfast, snacks for the kids and maybe a bottle or two for the grown-ups! We also recommend that you bring paper plates and cups etc. as it will save on washing up and make life easier for al fresco dining.

There is a small shop on site which has the basics incase you forget or run out of anything. Newport is only 15 mins drive away – has a lot of supermarkets including a Tesco’s and a Morrisons.

There are also some lovely pubs in the local area which you will have time to frequent after sports day on Saturday and before Beccs has got talent that evening. Do book in advance as this is a busy weekend on the island with all the touring rugby families.

Drinks are available in the Boathouse bar and restaurant (where we met on Friday night) or the Regatta View Showbar (the Saturday night performance venue).
